Her Majesty the Ladybird

I like to draw, I'm selftaught, and it's taken a long time for me to settle with a style that I like.

So, what do you think?

Birthday Week!

Thu Oct 22, 2009, 11:34 PM
Yes, it's that time of the year for me! Well.... it was actually yesterday, but we can overlook that can't we?

So, my birthday this year was a bit wierd because I had an excursion with schoo at the same time. The excursion went for three days, the 21st, 22nd and 23rd of October, and my birthday was slap bang in the middle of it all.

It was really good three days.

Day one: I got to school really early, reached our accomidation at Dubbo by about five-ish, with a few various detours on the way. After the teachers had settled us into our rooms, which looked like prison cells, they let us (140-ish teenagers) loose in the playground until dinner. After dinner there was a visit to an observatory, and then we were forced to have lights out by 10:30.

Day two: Here's the interesting day =D. Had to wake up reeeeaaaalllllyyyyy early, as in before sunrise early, so that we could go for a mornig behind the scenes tour of Dubbo Zoo. Then there was breakfast, and then we were let loose for three hours around the zoo. One of my friends had a birthday surprise for me that involved tying baloons to my wrists so tightly that I couldn't get them off all day. After the zoo we were herded off to go visit the Radio Telescope at Parkes, and after that we went to our next place of accomidation, which happened to be on mount Panorama XD
When we got there all of my friends dropped everything and we had a birthday party, which was small, but lots of fun! Eventually we were called to dinner, where I found that during one of our stops the teachers had decided to buy me a birthday cake :)
After that we had free time, and my friends and I played truth or dare for about three very interesting hours...

Day three: Got up a bit later than the day before, but still early enough to turn the lot of us into zombies. It was a pretty ordinary day, and over annoyingly quickly.

Yes, so, that explains where I've been for the last three days!

deviantID

I'm just your average self-taught Deviant-
Creative, imaginative, and open to constructive criticism. I also have that evil habit of staying up until ungodly hours of the morning to finish off both my artwork and my school assignments, and I have to admit that my artwork is a lot more fun.

My main area of expertise is photography and a wierd manga-ish sort of style that I've developed through practise and lots and lots of horrible sketches, and inspiration comes from music and nature, and also those random little ideas that have a habbit of jumping into your brain at just the wrong time.
